Blue Mountain Retirement Estate is a development within Blue Mountain Village, situated in the Southern Cape Region, in the stunning setting of George. The Retirement Estate is in a league of its own with its beautiful Cape Dutch architecture, which blends in beautifully with the history of George. The Estate offers 24 hour security, including access control and prides itself on its safe and enhanced lifestyle. Across the road from the new Eden Meander and a short walk from the Garden Route Mall, the Estate also lies conveniently close to George Airport, Herold’s Bay, Victoria Bay and Wilderness.
The Gables are now selling and will consist of 37 well designed one-bedroom garden cottages. Adjacent to the Haven, The Gables will be sold as sectional title and life rights. Levies will include health care and management fee. As with the Retirement Estate, meals, laundry and cleaning services are optional. The Gables cottages enable residents to own a pet and car and offers covered parking.
At present, 2 cottages are occupied and 10 cottages are under construction. 2 cottages will be ready for occupancy in December 2016 and 6 will be ready for occupation in March 2017.
An additional 25 units will be constructed during Phase 3.
As a resident of the Retirement Estate, you have access to the adjacent lifestyle development, where you can enjoy nature walks with Zebras and Springbok roaming around in a completely secure development.
The Estate consists of 86 units, of which 78 full title houses are sold and only 8 units are still available. Of the 8 units still for sale, a choice of 2 different floor plans is available, which are designed around your comfort and needs.
A gardening service is included in your monthly levies. Residents of the Retirement Estate have the added peace of mind knowing health assistance is taken care of and meals, laundry and cleaning services are optional.

For the buyer who desires a carefree lifestyle, the well planned apartments with kitchenette and bathroom are ideally suited. Meals, a cleaning and laundry service are available. First level care to the terminal elderly residents is available. An Alzheimer’s division is planned for the next phase of the development.
Whilst all 60 sectional title bedsits and one bedroom units are fully occupied, units are available from time to time and it is advisable to register your interest with the agent to ensure you are informed of future availability.
